4 most disappointing statistics for the Cleveland Browns in 2019

Ken Blaze-USA TODAY Sports

Damarious Randall’s Zero Interceptions

Cleveland was also expecting a big season from safety Damarious Randall. He had a breakout season in 2018 with the Browns, racking up 84 total tackles, four interceptions, and nine defended passes. Randall did not end up replicating that success in 2019.

Following an offseason of hype about Randall and how much he could impact the Browns’ defense, he really didn’t make much of an impact.

Randall ended up with no interceptions on the season. For a player who thrives as a playmaker in the secondary, that number was incredibly disappointing. The defense was rough all season long and Randall’s lack of playmaking was a major contributor.
