4 most impressive statistics from 2019 for the Indianapolis Colts

Just before the start of the 2019 NFL season, the Indianapolis Colts received some franchise-altering news. Andrew Luck shocked the team and the fans with his decision to retire early from the league. He was a legitimate superstar and many were expecting him to lead the Colts to Super Bowl contention in 2019.

Unfortunately, there was just no recovering from that kind of a shock. Jacoby Brissett came in and played as well as possible, but the Colts still end up missing the playoffs.

Consistency issues were the main issue all season long. When everything was said and done, the Colts finished the season with a 7-9 record. It was a disappointing year, to say the least, but there were quite a few bright spots.

Chris Ballard will head into the offseason with quite a few reasons to be optimistic. He could look to make an upgrade at quarterback, but he doesn’t have to, and he has plenty of playmakers around Brissett.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at the four most impressive statistics for the Colts from the 2019 NFL season.
