4 perfect backfield options for the Kansas City Chiefs this offseason

J.K. Dobbins

With two months until the draft, it remains to be seen what the Chiefs are going to do in the first round. Could the team choose a running back? Or could they attempt to select a cornerback to shore up the secondary?

In the event that Kansas City elects to go with a running back, J.K. Dobbins would be a spectacular choice. Throughout his collegiate career at Ohio State, Dobbins has been nothing short of dominant.

To end his time at Ohio State, Dobbins broke Eddie George’s single-season rushing record in 2019. The junior running back ended the 2019 season with 2,003 rushing yards and 23 total touchdowns.

Coming into the NFL, Dobbins is definitely one of the most polished running backs in this year’s draft. Pairing Dobbins and Williams in the backfield would make Kansas City’s offense even more lethal.
