Looking ahead to the upcoming NFL offseason, the Detroit Lions are going to be a very interesting team to keep an eye on. They have been a franchise stuck in mediocrity for so long, but the hopes are still there that they can compete in the near future. In order to make that happen, the Lions need to have a good offseason.

Matthew Stafford missed a huge chunk of the 2019 season due to injury. Unfortunately, the Lions did not have enough talent on their roster to stay competitive.

When everything was said and done, the Lions finished the year with a 3-12-1 record. They were in quite a few more games than their record showed. Detroit isn’t as far away from contention as many might think.
