Henry Ruggs III, Wide Receiver, Alabama

Finally, we get to take a look at a sleeper target that the Falcons should have on their radar with the No. 16 overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Henry Ruggs III would give Matt Ryan another game-changing weapon and would help take more pressure off of Julio Jones.

Ruggs is a speedy standout from Alabama and had a solid 2019 season with the Crimson Tide. He ended up with 40 receptions for 746 yards and seven touchdowns. Those numbers average out to an impressive 18.6 yards per reception.

Atlanta made the tough decision to trade Mohamed Sanu ahead of the NFL trade deadline to the New England Patriots. They have great talent in Jones, Calvin Ridley, and Justin Hardy. Even Russell Gage is a talented receiver.

While they have those four players, bringing in a guy like Ruggs could change the dynamic of their offense. Finding playmakers at any position is never an easy task. If Ruggs is there at No. 16, the Falcons should strongly consider taking him to add even more firepower.
