Austin Hooper, Tight End, Free Agent

There will be a new tight end in Carolina next season. Greg Olsen and the Panthers mutually decided to part ways after a long and successful career with the franchise. It was a sad day, but one that has been coming for a long time.

Austin Hooper is set to hit free agency after having a big season with the Atlanta Falcons. Signing him would be a big boost to the Panthers’ offense, but it would also be stealing one of their division rivals’ top offensive players.

In 2019 with the Falcons, Hooper caught 75 passes for 787 yards and six touchdowns. He put up that production in 13 games. Carolina would be wise to look into spending the money to bring a talent like Hooper in.
