Justin Herbert, Quarterback, Oregon

Yes, Teddy Bridgewater would be the ideal option for the Panthers if they look to free agency for a new quarterback, but Justin Herbert would be a big pickup as well. Carolina would be able to grow their offense around a rookie quarterback and a first-year head coach.

Herbert stands in at 6-foot-6 and nearly 240 pounds. He would be an ideal quarterback from a physical perspective and would also give the Panthers great arm strength and accuracy. What makes Herbert an even more intriguing option is the IQ that he brings to the field.

Oregon saw Herbert rack up 3,471 passing yards, 32 touchdowns, and six interceptions in 2019. He also scored four touchdowns on the ground. Carolina would likely have their new franchise quarterback by taking Herbert at No. 7 in the draft.
