The Dallas Cowboys are heading into a new era of football with new head coach Mike McCarthy taking over from Jason Garrett. While it is a major change, the team should be excited about the change.

In 2019, the Cowboys appeared to be headed for an NFC East division title before collapsing at the end of the year. When everything was said and done, the team missed the playoffs which led to major changes. Now, the Cowboys know that they have to add more talent this offseason.

Dallas could take a long look at the free agency market, but they are much more likely to add the needed talent in the 2020 NFL Draft. At this point in time, they hold the No. 17 overall pick. They should be able to find an impact player with that selection.

All of that being said, let’s dive in and take a look at four perfect options for the Cowboys with the No. 17 pick.

  1. Kinlaw is the no brainer here. We had our fill of “good work ethic corners” “the athletic safety” and Boise state products. If we’re not drafting a ball hawk in the secondary or a war daddy on the edge we need to try to package something together for the jets to acquire j. Adams once the draft begins and kinlaw is off the board.
