3. Henry Ruggs III, Wide Receiver, Alabama
There is a good chance that Henry Ruggs III won’t be available when the Raiders are on the clock with the No. 19 overall pick. He has been rising up draft boards quickly due to his speed and ability to make plays in the open field.
Ruggs caught 40 passes for 746 yards and seven touchdowns in 2019 for the Crimson Tide. He would fill the void that the Raiders’ offense currently has.
Tyrell Williams showed No. 1 potential in 2019, while Hunter Renfrow ended up being a very solid slot receiver. Ruggs would be able to start outside across from Williams and would take the top off of opposing defenses. Gruden has always loved playmakers and that is the definition of what Ruggs is on the field.
