3. Joe Schobert
Last offseason, the Cardinals chose to sign Jordan Hicks in free agency to give them an anchor at inside linebacker. The move worked to perfection as Hicks led the team with 150 tackles and had three interceptions.
Despite Hicks performing well in 2019, Arizona could use a versatile linebacker alongside him. Due to playing a 3-4 base defense, it is beneficial to have two reliable inside linebackers.
Therefore, the Cardinals should be keeping a close eye on Joe Schobert. Since 2017, Schobert has been one of the most underrated linebackers in the NFL.
In the past three seasons, the Cleveland Browns linebacker has combined for 380 tackles, eight sacks, seven forced fumbles, and six interceptions. Similarly to Hicks, Schobert is capable of playing the run and is phenomenal in coverage.
