2. Jordan Love, Quarterback, Utah State
Jon Gruden has always love drafting and developing his own quarterbacks. He would be able to do that with Utah State’s Jordan Love, who has been flying up draft boards of late.
Love had an interesting 2019 season, completing 61.9 percent of his pass attempts for 3,402 yards, 20 touchdowns, and 17 interceptions. His interception total is concerning, but there were quite a few turnovers that were not his fault.
The most interesting aspect of drafting Love is the passion and love he has for the game. He is always willing to learn and would be ecstatic to learn from a quarterback guru like Gruden. Las Vegas may not end up looking to replace Carr, but Love would be a solid long-term addition.
