4 Players to Carry Your Fantasy Football Team to a Championship

#1 RB Jordan Howard (CHI Bears)

Todd Gurley showed plenty of promise in his rookie year. Then, with a rookie QB, a poorly-designed offense, a struggling offensive line, and mediocre offensive weapons around him, Gurley struggled in his season season in the NFL. Then, when his rookie QB took a massive step forward, the offensive line was addressed, skills players were brought around him, and the offense was designed to facilitate his running, Gurley set the world on fire in 2017. Now, I’m not saying Jordan Howard is going to put up Todd Gurley-esque numbers in 2018, but doesn’t that story sound familiar? Jordan Howard, currently the 14th RB off the board and 24th overall, is the only RB outside of the Top 10 that I see with the potential to finish as the #1 fantasy RB.

Tarik Cohen could see time on 3rd downs, but I imagine the Bears will shift Cohen around for mismatches, in the backfield, in the slot, and even out wide at times. There is plenty of work to be had for Jordan Howard, and if Trubisky is able to follow in the footsteps of Jared Goff, considering the additions of players like Allen Robinson, Taylor Gabriel, and Trey Burton, Howard could have a monster year for fantasy purposes in 2018. Like Gurley last year, Jordan Howard can be that second-round player that single-handedly carry your team through the fantasy playoffs.
