Bradley Roby, Cornerback, Houston Texans
Another major weakness for the Falcons last season was at cornerback. They have to beef up their secondary if they want to get back into postseason contention. Bradley Roby could be a guy to look at on a cheap contract.
In 2019 with the Texans, Roby racked up 38 tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, two interceptions, a defensive touchdown, and eight defended passes. He may not be an “elite” cornerback, but he would likely be an immediate starter for Atlanta.
Depending on the price tag, Roby would make a lot of sense for the Falcons. Atlanta won’t be able to pursue a guy like Byron Jones, but Roby would be a solid secondary option.
