4 potential running back options for the Falcons this offseason

Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

1. Kenyan Drake, Free Agent, Arizona Cardinals

One of the most intriguing free agents on the market at the running back position is Kenyan Drake. He was traded by the Miami Dolphins midseason and the Arizona Cardinals loved what they saw from him.

In the eight games he played with the Cardinals, Drake carried the football 123 times for 643 yards and eight touchdowns. Those numbers average out to an impressive 5.2 yards per carry.

Atlanta would not have to spend huge money to bring Drake on board, but he could be the long-term answer for them. The Cardinals are going to do everything they can to re-sign him. Drake to the Falcons would make a lot of sense though and would be well worth looking into.
