Philadelphia Eagles
There isn’t a dire need for the Philadelphia Eagles to go out and acquire another running back talent with the emergence of Miles Sanders. That doesn’t mean they shouldn’t try to capitalize on an opportunity to add another talented option like Leonard Fournette though.
Something to take into consideration is the fact that Sanders thrived with Jordan Howard last season. It can go a long way to have multiple running backs that can help shoulder the responsibility as opposed to wearing down the same ball carrier all game.
There is also the risk of a lead-back suffering an injury and missing multiple games throughout the course of a season. Having multiple options that can step up and produce at a higher volume helps mitigate those concerns in the aftermath while decreasing the risk of it occurring.
The Eagles failed to make substantial moves to add receiver talent in free agency and a rookie may require a learning process. Philadelphia doesn’t have enough receiving talent to not capitalize on not only maintaining their rushing attack but furthering its potential.
