4 potential trade destination for Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It’s paramount for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to field as strong of a team as they can in 2020. There isn’t much time with Tom Brady as it is and he may need to rely increasingly more on a successful running game as he continues to get older.

Many experts have projected the Buccaneers to use one of their early-round selections on a running back for this very reason. There is a learning process involved with rookies and trading for a player like Leonard Fournette would be more appropriate for immediate results.

As it currently stands, the Buccaneers’ most seasoned back is Ronald Jones and that’s simply not enough for a team looking to contend right away. Having depth is helpful and adding a more talented lead option would equip Tampa Bay with precisely that.

Not only would the Buccaneers be landing a lead-back in a trade for Fournette, he has shown an ability to catch out of the backfield, too. Having the ability to do both is important when playing alongside a methodical quarterback like Brady.
