4 potential wide receiver options for the New York Jets in free agency

1. Amari Cooper, Dallas Cowboys

Finally, the Jets could look to make a massive splash by signing Cowboys’ impending free agent wide receiver Amari Cooper. Bringing him on board would completely change the look of the New York offense.

This season with the Cowboys, Cooper ended up catching 79 passes for 1,189 yards and eight touchdowns. He was expected to receive a big contract extension, but that did not end up being the case. Dallas is playing with fire, especially considering they may need franchise tag Dak Prescott.

If they can’t franchise Cooper, another team could swoop in and steal him. New York should do everything in their power to make that happen. Cooper would be an even bigger free agency splash than Le’Veon Bell or C.J. Mosley last offseason and would give Darnold the superstar receiver he needs.
