4 potential wide receiver targets for the Packers in free agency

4. Robby Anderson, New York Jets

One intriguing option for the Packers could be New York Jets impending free agent wide receiver Robby Anderson. Green Bay had interest in him at the trade deadline, but nothing ever came of it due to the Jets’ high asking price. Revisiting interest in him in free agency would make a lot of sense.

Anderson would not come in and be a 1,000-yard wide receiver, but he would provide the Packers with speed and the ability to take the top off of a defense.

In 2019, Anderson caught 52 passes for 779 yards and five touchdowns. Green Bay simply needs more weapons for Rodgers and Anderson could be that guy for them.
