4 potential wide receiver targets for the Packers in free agency

Aaron Doster-USA TODAY Sports

1. A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals

Finally, if Gutekunst decides to swing for the fences and go for it, A.J. Green would be the ultimate prize for the Packers. There is some concern surrounding his health after he missed the entire 2019 NFL season with injury, but Green Bay will not allow that to scare them away.

Green is one of the NFL’s top wide receivers when he is at full health. Back in 2017 with the Bengals in 16 games, Green caught 75 passes for 1,078 yards and eight touchdowns. That production comes with Andy Dalton throwing him the ball.

Pairing Green with Aaron Rodgers would be deadly. The Packers’ star quarterback may not be as good as he once was, but if they give him a weapon like Green he could have a bit of a resurgence.

Get it done Gutey, the Green Bay fan base would immediately campaign for a statue of you outside Lambeau Field.
