4 PPR Running Backs to Target Late in Your Fantasy Draft

The Philadelphia Eagles are one of many teams that a lot of different options at running back. Jay Ajayi, Wendell Smallwood, Corey Clement, and the returning Darren Sproles are all vying for touches in the Philadelphia Backfield. But while Ajayi, Smallwood, and Clement are all between-the-tackles type runners, Sproles’s role as a 3rd down back and pass-catcher is pretty safe.

According to Fantasy Pros consensus rankings, Sproles is going in the 18th round of a 12-team league (meaning he is basically going undrafted). In what is expected to be one of the premiere offenses in the NFL, grabbing Sproles with what could be the last pick in your draft could be a great move.

Granted, Sproles is entering his age 35 season, but he’s only two years removed from almost 900 total yards and 4 total TDs on his way to his 3rd Pro Bowl.
