Theo Riddick – DET
Detroit is another team with multiple running back options. Between rookie Kerryon Johnson Johnson, Ameer Abdullah, and Theo Riddick, the Lions have a trio of capable options. The Lions spent a second round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft on Johnson, so he is expected to get the Lion’s share (pun kind of intended) of the carries, with Abdullah spelling Johnson from time to time. Riddick, on the other hand, like Sproles, has his role as a third-down back firmly entrenched in the offense.
Riddick is currently going in the 11th round of a 12-team PPR draft. While he’s not going to light the world on fire, you know exactly what you’re getting in the 11th round: He’s totaled at least 700 total yards and 5 total TDs in each of the past two season.
