4 reasons the Bears may not be who we think they are

Bears Can’t Play With Any Kind Of Consistency

In the NFL, consistency is key. However, the Bears have won will virtually no consistency to their play. Chicago will not be able to keep this up through all 16 games. Eventually, going down early and having to come back late in games will hurt them. Chicago will face some tough teams coming up on their schedule.

The Bears will not be able to beat good teams only playing one good quarter. They need to play a full 48 minutes of quality football to prove they are true contenders. If Chicago looks different with Foles under center, and this offense can sustain long scoring drives, then this team could be a legit contender.

The Bears’ defense is very good, and there’s no denying that. However, their offense still leaves me with questions. They must take care of the ball and score at least three touchdowns a game. If the Bears can average around 21-28 points a game, this defense could carry them to the playoffs.

Until this offense is able to put some points on the board, it will be hard to trust this offense. Chicago isn’t a bad team, in fact, they could be very good, however, this offense has to be able to rise to the occasion and capitalize on good field position.
