The Week 1 slate of the 2020 NFL schedule features no shortage of intriguing matchups. Among them is the showdown between the Dallas Cowboys and Los Angeles Rams in the first ever game at SoFi Stadium.

The last time the Cowboys and Rams met was during a Dec. 15 matchup that featured Dallas winning with 44-21 being the final score. Neither team managed to make the playoffs following that matchup.

There has been some change experienced by both teams during the offseason. The Cowboys managed to pull off an impressive draft haul featuring CeeDee Lamb and Trevon Diggs. They appear primed to contend for the NFC East title again in 2020.

As for the Rams, the NFC West is set to be perhaps the most competitive division in the NFL. The San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks each made noise in the playoffs last season and the Arizona Cardinals are on the rise.

A win in Week 1 would be helpful for both teams to get off to a strong start. With that, let’s take a look at four reasons the Dallas Cowboys will defeat the Los Angeles Rams in Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season.
