Heading into week one of the NFL season, the Packers just went through one of the most interesting off-seasons in the entire NFL.

The Packers had one of the most interesting drafts in entire NFL. Green Bay went after some interesting players like AJ Dillon, Josiah Deugara, multiple offensive linemen, and most notably quarterback Jordan Love. The QB pick for the Packers was not only shocking because the Packers still had Aaron Rodgers, but they also traded up to Love as well. Not only did the Packers not have the best draft according to most analysts, but the Packers didn’t have the most noteworthy free agency either.

During the free agency period, the Packers lost a few players, most notably Bryan Bulaga and Blake Martinez, and to replace those players they signed Rick Wagner and Christian Kirksey.

The Packers off-season was a bit of a dull one for most Packers fans, but the Packers would make up for it with their week one performance.

The Packers would face off against the Minnesota Vikings, who also had a lot of turnover on their team from the offseason. Green Bay would go on to destroy the Vikings defense as Green Bay scored 43 points on route to a dominant win over Minnesota.

Heading into Week 2, the Packers are set to face the Detroit Lions. Detroit is coming off a brutal loss to the Chicago Bears as they allowed the Bears to come back and score three unanswered touchdowns.

Let’s take a look at four reasons the Green Bay Packers will defeat the Detroit Lions in Week 2 of the 2020 NFL season.
