3. Dalvin Cook’s Impact

Cook signed a five-year, $63 million contract extension days before the 2020 season kicked off. He began earning his shiny new contract right away against Green Bay.

The Vikings gave the ball to Cook 12 times before they had to start abandoning the run game. He finished with 50 yards and two touchdowns. Cook is going to be the main option in the Vikings’ offense.

IF they can run the football, this makes Kirk Cousins better who is an incredible play-action passer. They were unable to run the ball effectively once they fell behind by three scores but that will not be the case this weekend.

If the Vikings grab a lead in this one, Cook will get going and take over offensively. This is exactly what Minnesota wants to do in games this season. Cook can log his first 100-yard game this season with at least one score.
