1. Kirk Cousins Is On The Right Track And Ready For A Breakout
Finally, the Vikings saw a quality version of Kirk Cousins against the Texans. He had struggled mightily through the first three weeks of the season, but he is back on track and ready for a breakout performance.
Cousins completed 16 of his 22 pass attempts for 260 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions last week. He is starting to find chemistry with the new-look offense and Jefferson is stepping up as a big-play threat to help replace the loss of Diggs.
With the running game firing on all cylinders again this week, Cousins will put together his best game of the season.
He will end up throwing for 275 yards, two touchdowns, and no interceptions. It won’t be a “massive” performance, but it will be the kind of performance that the Vikings need. Cousins will show that he is back and will lead his team to a big-time statement win.
