The New York Giants are a team on the rise. Although they struggled last season, they could be in for a major improvement. It all starts week one as the Giants take on the Steelers. The Steelers are the favorite in this game, and that is not surprising.

Pittsburgh has a fantastic defense, and the return of Big Ben should bring some firepower back to the offense. However, I believe the Giants will come away with an upset victory this week.

The Giants have a budding young offense. Their offensive line has a lot of potential. In a few years this could be the best offensive line in the league. Pair that strong offensive line with some young playmakers with star potential and you have a very formidable offense. The type of offense that will surprise a lot of people.

Although they had issues last season, a lot of that was due to injury. This Giants team has a very different feel than their teams of the past. They have lethal offensive weapons, a well rounded defense, and a coach who has learned from the best. New York could make some noise in the NFC East this year.

The Steelers are a very good team. They could be in for a playoff run and might even be a contender this year. However, the Giants have something to prove this season. They have flown under the radar all offseason after making some excellent moves.

With that, there are four reasons the New York Giants will defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 1 of the 2020 NFL season.
