The Philadelphia Eagles entered the season hoping to make the playoffs and potentially make a run towards another Super Bowl. The season, however, has gone very differently from these expectations. They hold a 1-3-1 record entering their matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

After starting the season with a loss to the lowly Washington Football Team and the Los Angeles Rams, Philadelphia earned their first non-loss with a tie against the Cincinnati Bengals. They were able to upset the defending NFC Champion, San Francisco 49ers, last week to earn their first win on the season.

Meanwhile, the Steelers will be coming off a week that saw their game postponed against the Tennessee Titans.

Having a 3-0 record makes them one of the last unbeaten in the NFL. The Steelers are expected to win in this battle for Pennsylvania, but if a few things break the Eagles’ way, they have the chance to pull off the upset.

With that being said, let’s take a look at why the Philadelphia Eagles will defeat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 5 of the 2020 NFL season.
