The Eagles Have To Play Desparate

One of the biggest surprises on the season is how horridly bad the NFC East is through the first four weeks. Currently the Eagles find themselves on the top of the pile with a 1-2-1 record.

For a division that many thought might end up producing two playoffs teams, this has been a far cry from what was expected. Dallas is likely to improve on the year, while Washington is hoping to make a play at the division by switching quarterbacks. The Eagles have a chance to be the pace setters by earning a big win.

Pittsburgh still has a chance to win the division, but that will likely be decided in the two games against the Ravens. They know that they are still in prime position for a wild card birth if they keep playing like they have been.

The Eagles know that the division is the only way into the playoffs baring a major change of course. Philadelphia will come out guns blazing and hold nothing back which will give them the advantage in this one.
