4 tight end prospects the Steelers should be watching at the NFL Draft Combine

3. Adam Trautman, Dayton

Yes, you read that right, we’re going to put a tight end from Dayton on this list. Taking a look at small school prospects is always intriguing. Adam Trautman has legitimate top-notch potential and could end up being an above average NFL player.

In 2019 with the Flyers, Trautman caught 70 passes for 916 yards and an impressive 14 touchdowns. He hasn’t played against elite competition, but Trautman has still proven himself to be a worthy NFL prospect.

Standing in at 6-foot-6 and 253 pounds, the Steelers would be able to utilize Trautman immediately. He is a good pass-catching tight end, but he is also willing to do the dirty work in the blocking game. Pittsburgh should consider drafting him.
