3. Tyler Johnson, Minnesota

Another potential sleeper for the Jets in the second or third round could be Golden Gophers standout Tyler Johnson. He hasn’t received a ton of hype throughout the draft process, but will make some team very happy for taking him.

Johnson put together a big season in 2019 at Minnesota. He caught 86 passes for 1,318 yards and 13 touchdowns. Those numbers should intrigue wide receiver needy teams like New York.

Standing in at 6-foot-2 and 205 pounds, Johnson is a quality possession receiver. He isn’t going to be a burner, but the Jets already have one in Perriman. Adding a possession wideout like Johnson for Darnold would be a nice step in the right direction.
