San Francisco 49ers: 3 Best Individual Performances from Week 4 Loss vs. Chargers

The San Francisco 49ers came away with an unfortunate loss when they visited the Chargers in Los Angeles. However, there are plenty of great performances that happened.

It was a tough loss for the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. They came into Los Angeles looking to upset the heavily favored Chargers but came up just short in the end with a 27-29 loss.

However, what can’t go unnoticed are the strong performances that kept the game close for the 49ers. These players did everything they could to keep the team’s fans hopeful for the rest of the season at the quarter-season mark.

Each of these men will build off of their play and will look to motivate and spread this level of production to the rest of their teammates.

An honorable mention goes to the quarterback C.J. Beathard. He put together a good stat line despite what the two interceptions will make people think. He was under duress all throughout the game, and both of his picks he threw weren’t exactly his fault.

He’s shown serious improvement from his rookie season last year, and it should leave fans optimistic about how he’ll do for the rest of the season. However, he’s not in the rest of this list as other performances jumped out more.

With that being said, here are the three best performances from the 49ers in Week 4.
