3. He Will Decrease His Interception Count To Below 10

The elite quarterbacks in the NFL take care of the football above all else. Take a look at Aaron Rodgers last season, who only threw four picks. Tom Brady only threw eight interceptions.

Jimmy Garoppolo ended up with 13 interceptions, which isn’t a horrible number. However, decreasing that number to below 10 would be ideal. If he can do that, the 49ers are going to be even more difficult to beat.

San Francisco seems to be comfortable with Garoppolo as their franchise quarterback. They had a chance to go after Brady in free agency, but chose not to. Garoppolo is the man for the 49ers and he will show improvement by taking care of the football more in 2020.
