Unleash the Offense
As simple as it sounds, this is what Kyle Shanahan and the offense need to do. It’s going to be a shoot-out between 49ers head coach and Raiders head coach Jon Gruden. So San Francisco’s offense is going to need to be in full effect with how this game is going to go.
Not to mention with everything going wrong with the Raiders:
- They give up 31.1 points per game (second-worst in the league) and a league-worst 144.7 rushing yards per game.
- Oakland is also seventh-worst in yards allowed with a putrid 407.4 per game.
- They’re the only defense with a sack total that isn’t in the double digits (seven).
- PFF has them ranked 29th in overall defense with a 63.3 grade.
- Their turnover differential is at 28th with a negative six.
- And they give up a passer rating of 109.4, which ranks fourth-worst in the league.
And as much as the team is worried about the health of quarterback CJ Beathard, they shouldn’t worry too much about pressure.
The #Raiders pass rush has the lowest pressure rate in the NFL by a significant margin. Whether it’s Beathard or Mullens tomorrow, either QB should have time in the pocket to do some damage. #49ers

The most crucial part of the 49ers offensive game plan needs to be getting the ball in the hands of the playmakers. Especially with a lack of pressure coming against them.
Combine this with a strong rushing attack against a weak run defense and this team will be looking at a significant point total.
