At 2-7 entering week 10, the 49ers season is just about done. Playoff hopes are far out of sight from a divisional and wild-card standpoint. At this point, Kyle Shanahan’s team is looking to have another strong end to 2018 like he did last year.

But it’s time for San Francisco’s head coach to let the young and promising stars that don’t get enough time shine in more prominent roles. From wide-eyed rookies that are viewed as the future to veterans that have shown promise in subpackages. Throw in some veterans looking to improve on their 2018 campaign, and you can find some guys looking for a more significant impact on the team.

Shanahan will need to do this to get a feel for the future of the team. Not to mention, seeing where this team is going with some of these guys that can take over.
