San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has faced criticism for his performance in the recent victory over the Green Bay Packers. However, his star tight end, George Kittle, has passionately defended him.
During an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show, Kittle asserted that Purdy deserves more recognition than he’s been getting. Kittle emphasized that Purdy’s track record speaks volumes about his abilities, as he has successfully led the team to the NFC Championship Game in each of his first two seasons.
“Brock Purdy is fantastic and he’s consistent every single day.. Second year player and his second year in the NFC Championship.”
There is no question that the 49ers are in a good place with Purdy leading the way. He has immediately become one of the most feared and talented quarterbacks in the entire NFL.
Every single star player in the NFL has their haters. Purdy is no different. However, the haters have to admit that he has found an awful lot of success throughout his first two years as the 49ers starter.
It will be interesting to see how Purdy and the 49ers look this weekend against the Detroit Lions in the NFC Championship Game. After struggling against the Packers, the 49ers cannot afford to start slow again.
Make sure to tune in to see whether or not Brock Purdy and George Kittle can lead the 49ers to the Super Bowl with a win over the Lions.
