There really is no greater feeling than when Week 1 of the regular season finally kicks off. That feeling gets amplified when we’re all treated to a magnificent matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Minnesota Vikings. This game could not have received any more hype.

The 49ers hit the road to take on the runner ups of the NFC. Unfortunately for the Niners, they fell short in Minneapolis 24-16 in a game filled with mistakes and self-inflicted wounds. That, and the Vikings’ talent on both sides of the ball was just too much to overcome.
