Ends Up Being a Close Game

For all that can be said about the rivalry between these two teams, they cannot claim that they had any nail-biter games last year. Rewind one more season though, and you’ll find two squads that battled it out until the bitter end. In both 2018 games, these teams decided a victor by a tiny margin of 2 and 3 points respectively.

That wasn’t likely to happen last season, but this year it could be entirely possible. Generally speaking, teams who finish with the number one offense in the league don’t repeat that honor. That’s not a knock on the Ravens, just a reality of a competitive league.

On the other hand, the Browns offense was abysmal despite having star players all over the offense. With a new offensive-minded coach, this team should get out of the gate at a full sprint and see a huge game from Mayfield, Beckham, and other stars.

If the Browns take that step forward, they’ll prove this matchup to be one of the more competitive rivalries in the league. That’ll start Week 1, as the Browns will start strong with a lead in a game that stays close until the very end.
