3. Mike Evans Continues Touchdown Streak
It has been an interesting start to the season for Evans. He continues to be one of the best receivers in football and has caught five touchdowns with at least one in each game. He will make it five in a row to begin the season in this one.
Evans was used as a decoy in Week 1 after suffering an injury. He caught just one pass for two yards and a touchdown. Evans broke out in Week 2 with seven catches for 104 yards and a touchdown. He outdid himself on Sunday with seven catches for 122 yards and a touchdown against the Chargers.
In Week 4 against the Denver Broncos, Evans turned in a stat line that is extremely rare. He finished with two catches for two yards and two touchdowns. Brady threw a pair of one-yard touchdowns to his No. 1 receiver.
Evans is just a matchup nightmare. He has the size and athleticism to dominate on the outside. That is why he has logged 1,000 or more yards in each of his first six professional seasons.
