2. Bears Continue To Regret Quarterback Change
This is not a claim in favor of Mitch Trubisky. This is an anti-Foles exclamation. The trigger was quick for Matt Nagy. After a 2-0 start, the Bears made the decision to pull Trubisky after a poor outing in Atlanta. Now, their hands are tied because the worst thing a team can do is go back and forth week-to-week with their quarterback.
Chicago might be stuck with Foles and that is no recipe for success. Yes, Foles won a Super Bowl in Philadelphia when Carson Wentz went down with an injury. The Eagles were the best team in football that year.
Let’s not forget that Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl and Rex Grossman made an appearance in one. Foles has been mediocre throughout his career which is why he has not landed a consistent starting job since entering the league.
Again, this is not a Trubisky appreciation post because he has not been good enough to win the job either. The move just might have been too early and now the Bears might be stuck.
