Cowboys, Rams
NFL Analysis Network

The Dallas Cowboys will be the very first opponent at the new stadium of the Los Angeles Rams this Sunday in Week 1 of the 2020 NFL regular season. Neither team had quite the season they wanted a year ago as both teams missed the playoffs in 2019.

This is a whole new season for the Rams and Cowboys, with both teams making changes to their roster, including the Rams no longer having Todd Gurley as their starting running back, and for the Cowboys, they said goodbye to veteran tight end Jason Witten.

On the plus side for the Cowboys, they drafted CeeDee Lamb to possibly put their trio of wide receivers at the top of the NFL. The Rams now have Malcolm Butler as their top running back, and the quarterback show will still consist of Dak Prescott of the Cowboys against Jared Goff of the Rams, so that could be a big-time matchup to watch.

The Cowboys lead the all-time series at 18-17, with Dallas winning their most recent matchup on Dec. 15, 2019 by a 44-21 score. With this game being the first Sunday Night Football game of the season, the primetime audience will be big in the TV ratings, as these two franchises are set to face each other in a big game right off the bat.

Next are 5 bold predictions for this game, as there are sure to be some big plays and even bigger performances ahead between two teams who want to return to the playoffs for the 2020 NFL season.
