4. Jaylen Waddle Produces Big Plays
The Dolphins’ offense is going to look a lot different this weekend than it did during the season against the Bills with Tua Tagovailoa out of the lineup. They are going to need their stars to step up as a result and Jaylen Waddle will answer the call.
Waddle was a standout in Year 2, combining with Tyreek Hill to make one of the best wide receiver duos in the NFL. He was excellent in both regular season games, surpassing the 100-yard mark in each, catching seven passes total and scoring one touchdown.
The Alabama product will surpass the 100-yard mark once again, leading the team in receiving yards in the game. He will shake loose for one big play, scoring a touchdown as well.
3. Bills Defense Gets Job Done
The Bills had one of the best defenses in the NFL this year despite multiple key pieces missing time throughout the season. While they struggled at times slowing down Miami’s offense, that won’t be the case this weekend.
Without Tagovailoa in the lineup, the Bills are going to take full advantage of going up against seventh-round rookie Skylar Thompson. Thompson has struggled to move the ball consistently, which isn’t too surprising given the circumstances. He will struggle once again during Super Wild Card Weekend.
The Bill defense is going to score as many touchdowns as the Dolphins’ offense, providing the team with a major boost. They will record at least four sacks in the game as Miami will have to abandon the run relatively early and be in catch-up mode.
