Cam Newton Throws More INTs Than TDs

Cam Newton is the new QB in Foxboro, replacing the GOAT Tom Brady. He was recently named the Week 1 starter for the Patriots and frankly should be the starter all year long, barring any injuries/really poor performances.

However, it will take some getting used to for this offense to click. It’s been almost a year since Newton started a game and I think he will run into some trouble against the Dolphins. The lack of elite offensive weapons surrounding him does not help, as only Julian Edelman is a sure thing.

When it comes to touchdowns, expect Newton to rely on the run game near the end zone, either with Sony Michel/Damien Harris or Newton keeping it himself. He doesn’t have any sure red zone receiver targets.

As a result, Newton will try and force plays and get picked off twice in this Week 1 matchup, while finding the end zone once. But expect to see at least one Xavien Howard pick in this game.
