Jamal Adams Impresses for Seahawks
The Seahawks surprisingly made a move for Jamal Adams this offseason. Seattle sent Bradley McDougald, two first-round picks, and a third-round selection to New York for the superstar safety. Even on short notice, Adams should make an immediate impact for the Seahawks.
Adams’ versatility is almost in a class of its own. The LSU product can guard tight ends and most receivers while still blitzing like an outside linebacker. He’s a serious tackler and playmaker who never avoids the chance to make a game-altering play.
While he isn’t a ball-hawk or classic centerfielder, Adams is one of the league’s most respected safeties. The only active player in his same weight class is Derwin James, who is out with a season-ending injury.
Against a high-scoring offense like the Falcons, there will be no shortage of opportunity for Adams to be able to make an impact on the game. His presence could help tip the balance in Seattle’s favor.
