Starting RBs Combined for Over 250 All-Purpose Yards

When thinking of the top running backs in the NFL, it doesn’t take long for Saquon Barkley to be mentioned. His contributions to the New York Giants’ offense were limited due to an ankle injury, but now healthy, he will be ready to put up big numbers.

It’s not going to be easy to go up against this Pittsburgh Steelers defense and achieve strong results. However, Barkley is a dynamic enough talent to be able to get the job done. Most of his work will get done on carries and surpassing the 100-yard mark is a real possibility.

When factoring in the Giants’ defense will not be able to slow down the Steelers’ offense, a strong outing from James Conner is a real possibility. Especially when factoring he can get the job done both on carries and as a receiver out of the backfield.

Overall, both Barkley and Conner can combine for over 250 all-purpose yards in this particular matchup. With Ben Roethlisberger back in the lineup, the expectation is that Conner will get back closer to his 2018 form and a big display in Week 1 will occur.
