5 bold predictions for Texans vs. Chiefs in Week 1 of the 2020 season

The 2020 NFL season is just a week away and it’s time to start looking at the Week 1 schedule. After a crazy offseason filled with uncertainty and the unknown, the league has found a way to continue forward. Now, we are a week away from the Houston Texans and Kansas City Chiefs squaring off.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs are once again favored to win the AFC and many believe that they will end up repeating as Super Bowl champs. The Texans, on the other hand, went through some major changes this offseason. Among them was trading star wideout DeAndre Hopkins.

Obviously, this is also a re-match of the AFC Divisional playoff game. In that game, the Chiefs made a massive comeback after the Texans took a 24-0 lead in the second quarter. That loss left a bad taste in Houston’s mouth all offseason long.

While this game isn’t the most anticipated of them all in Week 1, it is the first game of the season. Fans will be watching and it will be great to have football back.
