A pair of winless teams will matchup in week three of the NFL with the Cincinnati Bengals traveling to visit the Philadelphia Eagles. While both these teams are 0-2 they had very different expectations entering the season.
The Eagles had their eyes set on repeating as the NFC East champs and making a push in the playoffs behind franchise quarterback Carson Wentz. Two losses by double digits to the Washington Football Team and the Los Angeles Rams have put those hopes on the backburner with new expectations just focusing on winning a game.
The Bengals knew this year was likely to be a rebuilding project behind rookie quarterback Joe Burrow. Cincinnati has played two close games that saw them on the wrong side of the score by less than a touchdown.
Perhaps the greatest display included the Bengals’ opener that was set to go to overtime until kicker, Randy Bullock, appeared to injure himself on a makeable field goal that would have tied the game.
With that being said, let’s take a look at five bold predictions for the Cincinnati Bengals vs. Philadelphia Eagles matchup in Week 3 of the 2020 NFL season.
