4. Wentz Doesn’t Throw an Interception This Game
Normally a declaration like this would not be considered any kind of bold prediction but considering Carson Wentz has tossed four interceptions already this year, there is a big concern about his ability to protect the ball and not force it into tight coverage.
One thing that will be helping the Eagles’ quarterback is that he is not facing a pass rush anywhere near the caliber of Washington or Los Angeles.
While Cincinnati has some talented edge rusher on the roster, they have not been able to turn that into game-changing sacks. Wentz should have more time to make the right decisions in this game and that should result in a cleaner game.
The Bengals have shown that they can still defend the pass so this doesn’t mean that Wentz will just have his way all afternoon, but I do think he can choose to throw the ball away or run instead of being forced to throw the ball too soon or take a sack.
