3. Melvin Gordon Has Another Big Day
Much like Jerry Jeudy at No. 5, Melvin Gordon will have to face the respectable Patriots defense, instead of the Jets defense he faced in Week 4.
If Lock cannot play, look for Gordon to once again have a big presence in the Broncos offense. Gordon carried the ball 23 times last week, for 107 yards and two touchdowns.
Even if Lock is able to play, though, it’d be smart for Denver to feed Gordon, as Lock may have to shake some rust off after missing time.
Gordon was nominated for FedEx’s Ground Player of the Week honors after his performance against the Jets. He’ll be looking to score his fourth touchdown of the season this week against New England.
