Ronald Jones Will Rush For Over 100 Yards

Not too many were expecting a good year from HB Ronald Jones after the Buccaneers signed Leonard Fournette in the offseason. But, Jones has been a pleasant surprise for this Tampa Bay offense. On the year, Jones has 472 rushing yards and 3 touchdowns.

With the return of Leonard Fournette expected this weekend, I still see Jones rushing for over 100 yards on Sunday Night Football.

Jones has been so good in the absence of Fournette, that he was the recipient of one, “Angry Runs”, award. It is an award that NFL Networks, Good Morning Football, gives away each week. Jones, also referred to as “Ro Jo”, has earned it as he has been running hard and picking up lots of yardage in doing so.

Ronald Jones has now gone three straight weeks rushing for over 100 yards. He will look to continue that streak this week against the Las Vegas Raiders, whose rush defense currently ranks in the bottom half of the league. The Raiders allow an average of 126.8 yards per game on the ground.

If Fournette does return this week, he will most likely be on a snap count. It was reported that he was going to be on a snap count last week, but last minute, he was reported as inactive. With him being on a snap count combined with the hot play of Jones, I expect Jones to have another big game this week.
